Wait until you hear about our new C++ programming instructor

KnowledgeCity’s new C++ programming instructor, Kyle Muldrow, is currently a full-time professor of Computer Information Systems at DeVry University in Long Beach, CA and a part time mathematics instructor at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA. Before Kyle settled down into teaching, however, he spent over a decade as a software engineer in the aerospace industry.

To start, Kyle worked for McDonnell Douglas Corporation (now Boeing), writing software to operate visual displays in the cockpit of the F-15 eagle tactical fighter. After several years dabbling with the cockpits of F-15 fighter aircraft, he moved over to the B-2 stealth bomber at Northrop Grumman Corporation, again creating visual display software for the cockpit.

Eventually, Kyle moved to Quantum Corporation, the experts at data protection and recovery, to spend over four years writing software (in C++!) to operate automated tape libraries and machines. His software operated a robotic controller inside the machine to display and operate a graphical control panel. Other companies bought this software to back up large amounts of data.

After all this, Kyle can still say, “I am very excited that KnowledgeCity has provided this opportunity to share my experience in C++ programming. . . Let’s get started and have some fun!” We are glad to have Kyle as a member of the KnowledgeCity training team and hope that you will give his Introduction to C++ Programming a try.

We dare you.

  1. I am very excited to learn about our new C++ program. I took C++ in college and did not really understand it mostly because the class was too fast and my professor did not want to help me. I look forward to taking this class soon.
    Thanks,
    Kyle Gosselin
